Abstract

The information revolution opened a wide scope for the architectural designer to exchange information and data, so it became possible to convert information into digital forms, and this in turn affected the life activities that are practiced inside buildings, and they all overlap with the architectural aspect, affecting contemporary architectural production and affecting the architectural designer’s thought and the design mechanism, which contributed In the emergence of smart architecture, which affected all aspects of architecture
The research problem appears in the challenges required by the design process in terms of the necessary needs of the building’s occupants at the present time and predicting the future with high accuracy and over a long period of time. The idea of what will happen next has become the concern of computer system designers.
The research aims to study the impact of smart architecture on the design process and architectural thought in order to provide buildings capable of absorbing technical and technological development and employing them professionally in buildings and architectural spaces to live up to people’s aspirations and expectations, meet their needs efficiently and effectively, make optimal use of resources, and provide a comfortable and productive internal and external environment.
